Bu amaçla Haziran 2015 ve Temmuz 2024 tarihleri arasında toplam 60 birey (22 birey Pica pica (Linnaeus, 1758), 24 birey Coloeus monedula (Linnaeus, 1758), 2 birey Corvus corax (Linnaeus, 1758), 3 birey Garrulus glandarius (Linnaeus, 1758) 9 birey Corvus cornix Linnaeus, 1758)) konak kuş türü incelenmiş ve 13 helmint parazit türü tespit edilmiştir. Bunlar, Digenea’dan 3 tür (Brachylaima fuscata, Branchylecithum lobatum, Lyperosomum longicauda ve bir Branchylecithum lobatum larva), Cestoda’dan 4 tür (Raillietina echinobothrida, Raillietina sp., Passerilepis stylosa, Choanotaenia macracantha), Nematoda’dan 5 tür (Syngamus trachea, Dispharynx nasuta, Dispharynx sp., Baruscapillaria obsignata, Baruscapillaria resecta) ve Acanthocephala’dan 1 tür (Sphaerirostris picae) olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada tespit edilen helmint türleri, literatürde Corvidae familyasında yaygın olarak rastlanan türlerdir. İncelenen konak kuşlardan C. corax, Türkiye’de parazitolojik olarak ilk kez incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, helmintlerden Brachylaima fuscata, Lyperosomum longicauda, Branchylecithum lobatum, Choanotaenia macracantha, Passerilepis stylosa, Raillietina sp., Syngamus trachea, Baruscapillaria resecta ve Dispharynx sp. Türkiye’den ilk kez kayıt edilmiştir.In this study, it was aimed to determine the helminth parasites of 5 host bird species belonging to the family Corvidae obtained dead from Bursa province and its surroundings in Turkiye. For this purpose, a total of 60 individuals (22 individuals of Pica pica (Linnaeus, 1758), 24 individuals of Coloeus monedula (Linnaeus, 1758), 2 individuals of Corvus corax (Linnaeus, 1758), 3 individuals of Garrulus glandarius (Linnaeus, 1758), 9 individuals of Corvus cornix Linnaeus, 1758)) were examined between June 2015 and July 2024 and 13 helminth parasite species were identified. These were 3 species from Digenea (Brachylaima fuscata, Branchylecithum lobatum, Lyperosomum longicauda and a Branchylecithum lobatum larva), 4 species from Cestoda (Raillietina echinobothrida, Raillietina sp., Passerilepis stylosa, Choanotaenia macracantha), 5 species from Nematoda (Syngamus trachea, Dispharynx nasuta, Dispharynx sp., Baruscapillaria obsignata, Baruscapillaria resecta) and 1 species from Acanthocephala (Sphaerirostris picae). The helminth species identified in the study are the species commonly found in the Corvidae family in the literature. Among the host birds examined, C. corax was parasitologically examined for the first time in Turkiye.
