R. dalmatina harbored one species of Monogenea (Polystoma sp.), 3 species of Digenea (Diplodiscus subclavatus, Pleurogenoides medians, and Pleurogenes claviger), 4 species of Nematoda (Rhabdias bufonis, Oswaldocruzia filiformis, Cosmocerca ornata, and Oxysomatium brevicaudatum) and one species of Acanthocephala (Acanthocephalus ranae).
