Çalışma, iki aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir. İlk aşamada, depo içi taşımaları en küçükleyecek şekilde, depoya adresleme problemine sınıf tabanlı yaklaşım getirilmiş ve atamalar GAMS optimizasyon programında kodlanan tamsayılı programlama modeliyle çözülmüştür. İkinci aşamada ise, depoya adreslemesi yapılan malzemelerin, üretim hattından gelen talepler doğrultusunda kümelenmesi ve talep toplayıcının rotalanması problemine öncelikle tamsayılı programlama yöntemiyle optimal çözüm elde edilmiştir. Ancak çözümün istenen hızda olmaması nedeniyle sezgisel algoritmalardan Genetik Algoritma, C# programlama dilinde kodlanarak küme ve talep toplama rotası elde edilmiştir. Ulaşılan sonuçlar, önerilen çözüm yaklaşımlarının benzer depo tiplerine uyarlanarak uygulanabilir ve geliştirilebilir olduğunu göstermektedir.The aim of this study is to design an order picking system and storage assignment using a developed mathematical model and computer based codes in the automotive industry. This study is performed in two stages. At the preliminary stage, storage location assignment problem is solved with a class based storage policy with the aim of minimizing warehouse handling. Locations are assigned using GAMS. At the second stage, optimum solution to the order batching and picker routing problem is obtained by using an integer programming model. Because of the solution time is not as desired, a Genetic Algorithm is developed for batching and picker routing. Genetic Algorithm is coded in C# programming language.
