Hastalara premedikasyon verilmedi, spontan solunumları korundu, endotrakeal entübasyon uygulanması. Ancak 30 dakikayı aşan işlemlerde, 3 hastaya N2 0/02 maske ile inhale ettirildi. Hastalara anestezi öncesi, sonrası Ayılma Değeri, ikinci dördüncü saatlerde Gestalt, Karışık Harfler, Toplama ve Labirent testleri uygulandı, Ayılma Değerleri saptandı. Bütün testler ve Ayılma Değerlendirmesi ile anestezi öncesi ile anestezi sonrası birinci, ikinci ve dördüncü saatlerde ayılma süresi bakımından anlamlı fark bulunmadı. Hastaların anestezi sonrası ilk saatlerde bile uyanık ve yüksek Ayılma Değeri taşımaları nedeniyle, 30 dakikayı geçmeyen ufak cerrahi işlemler için Phenazepam 'ın kolay ve emin anestezik kombinasyonu olduğu düşüncesine varıldı.Pentazocine 0,5 mg./kg. + Diazepam 0,33 mg./kg. "Pentazepam" was employed intravenously in ten healthy outpatients for minor surgical procedures. Patients received no premedication, ventilated spontaneously, without tracheal intubation, but N2O was used with a mask for prolonged thirty minute test procedures. Gestalt, Different Letters, Addition of Numbers, Labyrinth tesis were applied before and 1st, 2nd and 4th hours after anesthesia. The duration of responses were recorded by using a cronometer. Post anesthetic recovery (PAR) scores observed after (anesthesia) immediately and 1st, 2nd and 4th hours. Paired t-test was applied to test values and PAR scores for statistical comparison. There was no significant difference in all tests and PAR scores between pre and post anesthetic values. It is concluded that Phenazepam seems to be a simple and safe anesthetic combination for minor surgical procedures not lasting thirty minutes.
