Surgery is the primary form of treatment, but total resection is difficult and generally not possible. The least invasive and most effective form of treatment is injection sclerotherapy with sclerosing agents. Here, we report a case of LM in a baby, detected at prenatal ultrasound. The aim of this report is to assess the importance of ultrasonography in the prenatal diagnosis, therapy and follow-up of LM's.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAcousticsRadiology, nuclear medicine & medical imagingCystic lymphangiomaPrenatal ultrasonic diagnosesSclerotherapyDiagnosis, differentialFemaleHumansFrontal lobeLymphatic abnormalitiesMagnetic resonance imagingOrbitPregnancySclerosing solutionsSclerotherapyTreatment outcomeUltrasonography, prenatalYoung adultEfficacy of ultrasonography in lymphatic malformations: Diagnosis, treatment and follow-up: A case reportArticle0003340236000132-s2.0-8488451822524424615323979622AcousticsRadiology, nuclear medicine & medical imagingLymphangioma; Sclerotherapy; Lymphatic MalformationPicibanilSclerosing agentAdultAllergyArticleCase reportCesarean sectionClinical effectivenessDoppler echographyDrug safetyDrug tolerabilityErythemaFemaleFetusFetus echographyFeverFollow upGestational ageHumanLymphatic malformationNewbornNuclear magnetic resonance imagingOutcome assessmentPatient assessmentPrenatal diagnosisSclerotherapySwellingDifferential diagnosisEchographyFetus echographyFrontal lobeLymphatic AbnormalitiesOrbitPathologyPregnancyProceduresTreatment outcomeYoung adult
