The structure of this dioxime is found to be in anti-form according to 1H-n.m.r. and i.r. spectral data. LH4 gives trinuclear complexes [(LH)2M3] with Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Pd(II), and UO2(VI) by coordinating through N atoms in both aza and oxime groups. In [(LH3)Cl(C2O)Zn], a six-membered chelate ring has been formed.
