International Symposium on Postharvest Treatment of Horticultural Crops, I-II(368), 786-792.90-6605-236-80567-7572https://doi.org/10.17660/ActaHortic.1994.368.93http://hdl.handle.net/11452/21376Iceberg type lettuce cv. "Calona" was stored for 25 days at 0 °C and 90–95 % relative humidity, under different CO2 and O2 combinations (i.e., 0:21 (control) 0:5, 1:5, 3:3 and 5:5). Physical and chemical analyses were conducted on day 15 and day 25. As a result all CA applications (0:5, 1:5, 3:3 and 5:5) were found better compared with the control (0:21) application in the lettuces stored for 25 days. The most successful results were obtained from 3:3 and 5:5 applications.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessAgricultureFood Science & technologyA research on the controlled atmosphere (CA) storage of lettuceArticleA1994BE01D000952-s2.0-0029292315786792I-II368HorticultureFood science & technologyAgronomy
