The frogs were collected in the spring of 2013. Four species of helminth parasites were recorded: three species of Nematoda (Cosmocerca ornata, Oswaldocruzia filiformis, Oxysomatium brevicaudatum), and one species of Acanthocephala (Acanthocephalus ranae). Oxysomatium brevicaudatum was recorded for the first time from Hyla orientalis in Turkey.
