Bu bölgeden toplanan canlı-cansız ağaç kabuklan, döküntü ve çürümüş ağaç materyallerine nem odası tekniği uygulanması sonucunda Myxomycet firuktifikasyonları geliştirilmiştir. Ayrıca doğal koşullarda gelişmiş olarak habitatlarından örnekler toplanmıştır. Laboratuvarda bu şekilde elde edilen örneklerden mikroskobik preparatlar yapılmış ve herbaryum oluşturulmuştur. Bunlar üzerinde yapılan taksonomik çalışma sonucunda türlerin teşhis ve tanımları yapılmıştır. İlaveten hangi ağaçlar üzerinde, hangi Myxomycet türlerinin sıklıkla bulunduğu belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Daha önce yapılan çalışmalarda belirlenen Uludağ kaynaklı Myxomycet türlerini de çalışmamıza ilave etmemiz neticesinde Uludağ'da 8 familya, 21 genus ve 34'ü tür seviyesinde toplam 42 takson tespit edilmiştir. Bu türlerden ikisi Türkiye Myxomycet Florası içinde yeni kayıt olarak ilk kez çalışmamızla belirlenmiştir. Yeni kayıt türler; Echinostelium corynophorum Whitney, Echinostelium fragile Nann.-Brem. dir.Excursions were made to determinate Myxomycet Flora of Uludağ between 1993 and 1994. Barks from live or nonlive trees, decaying trees and leaving materials which are collected from this area were placed in moist chamber. Afterwards, Myxomycete fructifications were grown up in this moist chamber.Therefore Myxomycete samples grown in natural conditions were collected Microscopic slides were prepared from the samples obtained in the laboratory by this method. As result of taxonomic studies, Myxomycetes species were identified. It is also earned out to be defined the density of which Myxomycet species on which trees can be found. As a result of the addition of the Uludağ Myxomycetes species which were determinated in the former studies to this work, a total of 42 taxon, 8 families 21 genera and 34 species are determined. Two of these species are new records for Turkish Myxomycete Flora. Thus, number of Myxomycetes species which were reported in Turkey, is around 100.
