Profilaktik olarak hayvanlara intravenöz ve cilt altı farklı dozlarda defibrotide enjeksiyon ile yapıldı. Sonuçta Lv. 5 mg/kg tek dozun ve 5 mg/kg cilt altı üç gün tekrarlanan dozun tam olarak antitrombotik etki gösterdiği görüldü.In this study a venous thrombosis was founded by injection of a thermogenic agent, thromboplastin of rabbit brain and together with stasis in rabbits. Defibrotide injections were implemented by way of intravenous and subcutane for prophylaxis.
