Karkas ağırlığı arttıkça sol ve sağ musculus pectoralis’lerin ağırlığının önemli derecede arttığı, sol ve sağ musculus supracoracoideus ağırlığının 1600-1650 gr.’lık ve üzerindeki ağırlıklarda pek az değiştiği veya arttığı tespit edildi.addition, incoordination, opisthotonus and shaking of the head were remarkable in broiler breeders. Broiler breeder flocks with 2.4% to 20% mortality and 4% to 5% loss of egg production recovered within 1 to 2 weeks while mortality was 1% to 7% in broiler flocks. The disease was observed at 21 to 41 days of age in broilers and 35 to 60 weeks of age in broiler breeder. The antibodies to TRTV were detected between 5.5% and 80% in 7 out of 10 clinically healthy groups of broiler flocks. The antibodies to TRTV for the three of the four fattening turkey flocks (30 to 34 weeks old) and the two of the six breeder turkey flocks (36 to 38 weeks old) were found 20%, 24% and 57%; 10.5% and 11.1%, respectively..In this study, weights of pectoral and supracoracoid muscles between left and right sides were comparatively pectoral muscle investigated. For this purpose, four groups with the carcass weights of 1500-1550g., 1600-1650g., 1700-1750g. and 1800-1850g. were formed. A total of 152 chickens were used, and in each group there were 38 chickens. All of the chickens were 45-day-old. The pectoral muscle on the left side in group I, II, III and IV were 3.1%, 3.7%, 4.9% and 4.8% heavier than on the right sides, respectively and it was determined that these values were statistically significant (p<0.05). Left supracoracoid muscle in group I, II, III and IV were also determined as 3.8%, 2.0%, 3.1% and 3.3% heavier than right sides, respectively. The second of these values was not statistically significant (p>0.05) and the other values were found as statistically significant (p<0.05). It was found that by increasing carcass weight, the weights of left and right pectoral muscleincrease significantly and when the weight of carcass was 1600-1650g. or heavier, the weights of left and right supracoracoid muscle slightly changed or increased.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessTavukChickenMusculus pectoralisMusculus supracoracoideusKarkas ağırlığıSimetriPectoral muscleSupracoracoid muscleCarcass weightSymmetryTavuklarda karkas ağırlığına bağlı olarak musculus pectoralis ve musculus supracoracoideus’un sol ve sağ taraftaki ağırlıklarının karşılaştırmalı incelenmesiComparative investigation of the weights of pectoral and supracoracoid muscles on left and right sides depending on carcass weight in chickensArticle8184201-2
