International Conference on Dosimetry and its Applications (ICDA)’da bildiri olarak sunulmuştur.A Monte Carlo method was developed to investigate radiation shielding properties of bismuth borate glass. The mass attenuation coefficients and half-value layer parameters were determined for different fractional amounts of Bi2O3 in the glass samples for the 356, 662, 1173 and 1332 keV photon energies. A comparison of the theoretical and experimental attenuation coefficients is presented.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessChemistryNuclear science & technologyPhysicsBismuth borate glass systemsHalf-value layerMass attenuation coefficientMonte CarloRadiation shieldingShielding propertiesCoefficientsBismuthElectromagnetic wave attenuationGamma raysGlassRadiationRadiation shieldingShielding21.60.Ka25.20.Dc25.60.DzBismuth borate glassHalf-value layerMass attenuation coefficientsMonte Carlo methodsEvaluation of gamma-ray attenuation properties of bismuth borate glass systems using Monte Carlo methodArticle0004115335000772-s2.0-85016073393403405140Chemistry, physicalNuclear science & technologyPhysics, atomic, molecular & chemicalRadiation Shield; Gamma Ray; ShieldingBismuth borate glassGlassUnclassified drugArticleConcentration (parameters)Correlation coefficientGamma radiationMonte Carlo methodPhotonRadiation attenuationRadiation shieldSimulationMonte Carlo methods
