Publication milestones

The dates displayed for an article provide information on when various publication milestones were reached at the journal that has published the article. Where applicable, activities on preceding journals at which the article was previously under consideration are not shown (for instance submission, revisions, rejection).

The publication milestones include:

Received: The date the article was originally submitted to the journal.
Revised: The date the most recent revision of the article was submitted to the journal. Dates corresponding to intermediate revisions are not shown.
Accepted: The date the article was accepted for publication in the journal.
Available online: The date a version of the article was made available online in the journal.
Version of Record: The date the finalized version of the article was made available in the journal.
