Abstract
6–11 yaş, çocukların ilk çocukluktan sıyrılıp ergenliğe doğru adım atmaya çalıştıkları dönüm noktalarındandır. Sözü edilen yaş grubunun ilk basamağı ile son basamağındaki çocuklar arasında temel farklılıklar olmasına rağmen, hemen hepsi için Allah’a ve peygambere yönelik ne gibi istek, beklenti ve ilgi noktalarının belirlenebileceği merak konusudur. Bu araştırmada ele alınan problemler şunlardır: 6–11 yaş grubu çocuklarının Allah’ı ve peygamberlerini tanıma düzeyleri, bu tanıma düzeyinin ailenin, çocuğun içinde bulunduğu sosyo-ekonomik seviye, anne-baba öğrenimi vb. durumlar ile ilişkisi. Çocukların Allah ve peygamberlerinden istek ve beklentileri. Araştırmada ilköğretimin ilk kademesinin 1, 2, 3, 4 ve 5. sınıflarında öğrenim gören toplam 383 öğrenciye uygulanan anketin sonuçları değerlendirilmektedir. Verilerin kaydedilmesi ve değerlendirilmesinde SPSS programı kullanılmıştır. Hipotezlerde ki-kare (chi-square) test etme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda kısaca çocukların Allah ve peygamber hakkında olumlu düşüncelere sahip oldukları ancak peygamberleri hakkındaki bilgilerinin bazen çok yüzeysel olduğu bazen de peygamber hakkında hiçbir bilgiye sahip olmadıkları görülmüştür. Çocukların beklentileri daha çok sevdiklerinin yanında olmak, sağlıklı ve mutlu olmak gibi manevî alanı ilgilendiren konularla ilgilidir. Ekonomik seviye, yaş, anne-babanın eğitim seviyeleri gibi durumlar çocukların istek ve beklentilerini arada büyük farklar oluşacak şekilde etkilememektedir. Çocuklar bu yaşlarda ailelerinin bir arada, sağlıklı ve mutlu olmasına büyük önem vermektedirler. Peygamberle ilgili beklentileri ise onu görmek ve peygamberin onlara ahiret hayatıyla ilgili bilgi vermesi yönünde olmaktadır. En son bölümlerde araştırmanın sonuçlarına ve konuyla ilgili önerilere yer verilmiştir.
Children between 6-11 years old finish their early childhood and step into adolescence. This is wondered what kind of expectations and interest related to God and prophet can be defined for nearly all of them or each of them separately although there are differences between children who are in first and last periods of this age group. These are the problems dealt with in this paper; To what extend do the children between 6-11 years old know about God and prophet Is this level affected by the socia-economical situations of the children and their family Is it related to issues such as educational situations of their family. What do children expect from God and the prophet In the paper, the results of the questionnaire applied 383 students who are enrolled in the first cycle of primary education are evaluated. SPSS programme is used in order to record and evaluate data. Also testing technique called “chisquare” for hypothesis. It is found out that children have positive ideas related to God and the prophet but some of them know the very little about prophet and some others do not know anything about the prophet from the research. Expectations of children are most related to spiritual/moral issue such as being happy, healthy and together with people they like. Such factors as age, economical situation, their families’ educational situation do not affect their expectations too much to create great differences between them. It is important for children at this age group that their families are all together, happy and healthy. Their expectations about the prophet are to see him and get information related to the next world/ hereafter from him. In the last part, the result of research and suggestions related to the topic are presented.
