Abstract
Müzik eğitiminin amaçlarıyla örtüşen ve müzik eğitiminde bir materyal olarak önemli yer tutan; geleneksel ve çağdaş, tek sesli ve çoksesli, yerel, ulusal ve evrensel nitelikle müziklerden beslenen eğitim müziği alanına ilişkin olarak, alanın üretici tarafında yer alan bestecilerin görüşlerinin alındığı bu araştırmada; eğitim müziği bestecileri tarafından alanın değerlendirilmesi ve bu değerlendirmelerden yola çıkılarak bir durum tespiti yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, "eğitim müziği kavramı; eğitim müziği durumu ve sorunları; eğitim müziği besteleri ve besteciliği; eğitim müziği alanının iyileştirilmesine ve geliştirilmesine yönelik öneriler" temalarına ilişkin veri toplamak amacıyla bir görüşme formu hazırlanmış ve 7 besteci ile görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Veriler içerik analizi yapılarak çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmada eğitim müziği alanına ilişkin olarak; mevcut dağarcık, dağarcığın müzik eğitimi içinde fiilen kullanılma durumu, müzik eğitimi ders kitapları içindeki şarkılar, ders içi uygulamalar, beste ve bestecilik, eğitim müziğine özendirme ve teşvik konularında sorunlar olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. İçerik analizinden elde edilen bulgulardan yola çıkılarak, araştırmanın sonunda genel durum tespiti yapılmış ve alanın iyileştirilmesi amacıyla önerilere yer verilmiştir.
School music which is contained traditional and contemporary, monophonic and polyphonic, local, national and universal music, takes an important role as a material in music education. In this research, it is aimed to evaluate the field of school music by the composers' opinions. In the research, interview form has been prepared with the intention of getting data related with the themes of "the concept of school music"; "the situation and problems of school music"; "repertoire and composing of school music"; and "proposals to development of school music field." Data has been collected by interviewing 7 composers and has been analyzed by making content analysis. In the research, related to school music field; some problems have been encountered in respect of existing repertoire, usability of repertoire in school music actively, the songs in the music textbooks, practices in the lessons, repertoire and composing, and encouragement of school music composers and promotion to school music. Based on findings obtained from content analysis, general assessment has been determined and recommendations have been included on the purpose of improvement of the field.
