Abstract
Din Eğitimi Bilimi genç bir bilim dalı olduğu için, din eğitimi alanında ülkemizde yapılan araştırmaların yeni yeni giderek arttığı görülmektedir. Ancak yaz kursları üzerinde yapılan müstakil çalışmalar son derece azdır. Bu nedenle, bu araştırmada, din eğitimi alanındaki çalışma ve gelişmelere katkıda bulunmak üzere yaz kurslarındaki eğitim ve öğretimin bugünkü durumunu, öğrenci ve din görevlilerinin problemlerini ve bu problemler ile ilgili düşünceleri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca son yıllarda yaygınlaşan yaz kurslarındaki eğitim ve öğretimin nasıl daha yararlı hale getirilebileceği hususunda öneriler de sunulmuştur. Bu amaç çerçevesinde, araştırmamızda yaz kurslarındaki eğitim ve öğretim detaylı bir şekilde incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amacı gerçekleştirebilmek için, konu ile ilgili değişik kaynaklardan faydalanılarak anket soruları hazırlanmıştır. İki bölüm olarak düzenlenen anket formu, Türkiye’de öğrenim gören yaz kursu öğrencileri ile bu kurslarda ders veren din görevlilerini temsilen, Muğla il sınırları içerisinde yaz kursu gören 309 öğrenci ve 104 din görevlisine tesadüfî örneklem yoluyla uygulanmıştır. Uygulanan anket aracılığıyla deneklerden alınan ham veriler, bilgisayar ortamında değerlendirilmiş, beklenen değerlerle gözlenen değerler arasındaki anlamlılık ilişkisi sınanmıştır. Yapılan istatistiksel analizler sonucunda varsayımların pek çoğunun oldukça yüksek bir düzeyde desteklendiği tespit edilmiştir. Öte yandan araştırmanın teorik kısmında, geniş bir literatür taraması yapılarak bu çalışma hazırlanmıştır. Bu çerçevede öncelikle ilköğretim çağındaki öğrencilerin gelişim dönemleri ve bu dönemlerin özellikleri alt bölümlere ayrılarak geniş şekilde araştırılmış, asıl konu ise, bu dönemlerin özellikleriyle ilişkilendirilerek değerlendirilmiştir. Yaz kurslarına katılan din görevlileri ile öğrencilerin görüşlerini yansıtan bu çalışma, öğrencilerin yetiştirilebilmesi, bu alandaki eğitim ve öğretimin iyileştirilmesi yolunda atılacak adımların ve yapılacak çalışmaların hedefine ulaşmasına yardım edeceği kanaatindeyiz.
Since the science of religious training and education is a new, dynamic, scientific field, it should be pointed out that the studies in the field of religious education is growing rapidly nowadays, but independent individual studies in the field of summer term religious courses is quite insufficient. Thus, in order to contribute to the studies and scientific developments in the area specified here, it has been aimed to find out the present training and educational situation and condition in these courses problems which both students and religious functionaries have encountered, and their opinions and views regarding to solving the problems. Moreover, we will now consider why it is that students achieve success in learning their religion. İt should be said immediately that if we know the answer to this question, the job of teaching religion would be extremely easy! There are a number of factors that we can mention and that seem to have a strong affect on success or failure in summer term religious courses. As a result, in this thesis, we have suggested that many different factors that may affect a student’s motivation stressing that a strongly motivated student is in a for better position as a learner than a student who is not motivated in order to make this attempt more useful. In this point of view, we have studied training and educational activities in summer term religious courses in detailed. In order to achieve this goal, we have prepared complicated questions for our survey by studying a great number of reference books and real objects. Our survey is composed of two sections. İt has been applied to 309 students attending summer term religious courses and 104 religious functionaries serving in the province of Muğla by selecting them at random to illustrate both students and their teachers in Turkey. Information taken from both students and their teachers through this survey has been evaluated on the computer, and then meaningful connection between the values expected and those observed has been tested. The detailed scientific statistic of analyses has proved that most of our hypothesis has been supported at highly considerable level. On the other hand, in the theoretical section of the survey, a great number of the reference books and articles have been studied carefully growing phases and special features of students attending primary school have been divided into categories as sub-divisions. The aimed subject has been evaluated by showing the relations among their growing phases and features. We believe that this study showing opinions of students attending summer term religious courses and their teachers will help the authorities in an attempt of improving educational curriculums and give these students much better education in this field.
