Abstract
Tezimizde, spline ve çekirdek yoğunluk yöntemleri ile yüzey uyarlama ve yoğunluk tahminleri uygulamaları ele alınmıştır. Spline ve çekirdek tahmincisi arasındaki iki yöntemin farklılıkları ve ortak noktaları saptanmıştır. Spline yöntemleri ile istatistiksel dağılımlara yaklaşımlar incelenmiştir. Simulasyon çalışmaları yardımıyla farklı yoğunluk ve çekirdek için yöntemlerin karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır.
In this study we have presented some applications of spline curves which are approximation techniques in curve generation, the kernel density methods, surface fitting methods and the density estimation. Besides we have investigated different and similar features of spline estimator and kernel estimator methods. We then consider statistics distribution using spline methods.
