Abstract
Bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin eğitim ortamında kullanımı günümüzde giderek yaygınlaşmaktadır. Yapılandırmacılığın bir gereği olarak öğrenenin öğrenme ortamında bilgiye ulaşması gerekmektedir. Günümüzde bilgiye en kolay şekilde ulaşma yollarından biri de internettir. WebQuest internetin eğitim ortamlarında etkili bir şekilde kullanılmasını sağlayan bir öğretim tekniğidir. Bu çalışmada ilköğretim 6. sınıf Işık ve Ses Ünitesi içinde geçen ışık konusu ile ilgili WebQuest hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan WebQuestin öğrenci başarısına, Fen ve Teknoloji Dersine karşı tutumlarına, mantıksal düşünme yeteneklerine etkisi ve çoklu zekâ alanları ile ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmada ön test-son test kontrol gruplu deneme modeli uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada Davut Dörtçelik İlköğretim Okulu 6. sınıflarında 65 öğrenci kontrol grubu, 71 öğrenci ise deney grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın başlangıcında her iki gruba ?Işık Konusu Başarı Testi, Fen Bilgisi Dersi Tutum Ölçeği ve Mantıksal Düşünme Grup Testi ön test olarak uygulanmıştır. Deney grubu öğrencileri ile 2 haftalık süreçte WebQuest ile Işık konusunun öğretimi yapılmıştır. Kontrol grubuyla ise yenilenen ilköğretim programına göre öğretim yapılmıştır. Sonrasında Işık Konusu Başarı Testi, Fen Bilgisi Dersi Tutum Ölçeği ve Mantıksal Düşünme Grup Testi son test olarak her iki gruba da uygulanmıştır. Deney grubu öğrencilerinin çoklu zekâ alanlarını belirlemek için Çoklu Zekâ Alanlarını Belirleme Anketi uygulanmıştır. Yenilenen İlköğretim Programına göre WebQuest ile yapılan öğretimde; öğrencilerin ders başarısı ve mantıksal düşünme yeteneklerin arttığı ve bu artışın anlamlı olduğu görülmüştür. WebQuestler ile öğretimde öğrencilerin başarı ile mantıksal-matematiksel ve bedensel-kinestetik zekâ alanları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. WebQuestlerin öğretimde kullanılması ile başarı arttırılmış ve öğrencilerin mantıksal düşünme becerileri geliştirilmiştir. Uygulanan yöntem ile öğrencilerin tutumları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Bunun nedeni ise öğrencilerin WebQuestleri ilk defa kullanmaları olduğu düşünülmektedir.
Nowadays, the Internet and Comunication Technology using is increased at the educational area. Purpose of the constructivism students need to arrive informations in learning environment. Nowadays internet is one of the ways to reach the information. WebQuest is a teaching method, whose using internet effectively on educational environment. In this study, we developed a Webquest about Light and Sound Unit at 6 th. grade students. This study which developed a WebQuest is examination of students achievement, attitude, logical thinking and multiple intelligence affects. In this study pre-test and post-test used for trying model. There are 65 students in control group, 71 students in experimental group were determined in Davut Dörtçelik Elemetary School. Achievement instrument, Attitude Scale and Group Assessment of Logical Thinking(GALT) were administered to both groups as pre- test. WebQuest Method put into practice of Light subject to experiment group during 2 weeks. An education appropriate to the Renewed Elemetary Curriculum approach is applied to the students of control group. Later on Achievement instrument, Attitude Scale and Group Assessment of Logical Thinking were administered to both groups as post- test. Multiple Intelligence Fields Determination Scale was administered to experiement group for determined intelligence fields. Between experimental and control group students post test achievement and GALT scores, significant differences were found in favour of the experimental group in which WebQuest Method supported instruction was done. Significant and positive correlations were found among experimental group which as used WebQuest method between logical-mathematical intelligence and bodily-kinesthetic intelligence. Use of WebQuest method in teaching and learning was enhance students achievement and develop logical thinking. No significant relation were found among experimental group and control group between students attitude. The reason is that students were use WebQuest method in learning for the first time.
