Abstract
Plastik cerrahların deri lezyonlarının tedavisinde kullandıkları donanımlar arasında laser de yer almakta ve plastik cerrahide yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Laser kullanmak isteyen klinisyenlerin temel fizik bilgilerini ve değişik taserierin kullanılma nedenlerini öğrenmeleri gerekmektedir. Bu derlemede laser hakkındaki temel bilgiler, kutanöz cerrahide lazer kullanımı ve laser teknolojisindeki gelişmeler ele alınmıştır.
Lasers have found a definitive place in the armamentarium of plastic surgeons in the treatment of a wide variety of cutaneous lesions. The use of lasers in plastic surgery is now quite extensive. Any clinician interested in becoming involved in lasers should learn why certain tasers are used for certain applications. This article is limited to some of the basic concepts behind Lasers, their applications in cutaneous surgery and developments in laser technology.
