Abstract
Süreli yayınlar; yayımlandıkları dönem içerisinde mevcut olan gündemi, toplum yapısını ve dönemin genel hatlarını birebir olarak yansıtabilen önemli kaynaklardır. Dergiler de süreli yayınlar bütününün büyük bir bölümünü oluşturmaktadır. İçinde bulundukları dönemin birebir şahidi olan ve sonradan incelendiğinde geçmişten geleceğe kaynak olarak ışık tutan dergiler; pek çok konuda olduğu gibi eğitim tarihi konusunda da önemli bilgilere sahiptir. 1951-1958 tarihleri arasında yayımlanmış olan Tedrisat Mecmuası da bu eğitim dergilerinden biri olarak yayımlandığı dönemin eğitim anlayışı açısından pek çok veriye sahiptir. Bir eğitim dergisi olan Tedrisat Mecmuası, Türkiye’de eğitim dergiciliği hususunda önemli bir yere sahip olmakla beraber bu dergi 1909-1926 ve 1951-1958 tarihleri arasında iki kez yayımlanmış ve derginin ilk yayın dönemine dair pek çok akademik çalışma yapılmıştır. Buna karşın, derginin 1951-1958 tarihleri arasında olan ikinci yayın dönemine yönelik bir akademik çalışma bulunmamakla birlikte işbu çalışmanın ilgili dönemde eğitim konusunda olan tartışmaların ve görüşlerin aydınlatılması açısından ilk çalışma olması hedeflenmiştir. Derginin bilinen 60 sayısı olmakla birlikte bu sayıların tamamı içerik analizi yapılarak incelenmiş ve içerik dökümü oluşturulmuştur. Bu bağlamda dergide sosyal bilgiler, ders planları, ders kitapları gibi birçok konuda makale yayımlandığı, eğitim-öğretimin geliştirilmesi için çeşitli fikirler ortaya atıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Bunların dışında, dergide, çeşitli ülkelerin eğitim programları ve öğretmen yetiştirme usulleri incelenmiş, örnek ders planları ve eğitim konusunda yaşanan gelişmeler okuyuculara aktarılmıştır. Süreli bir yayın olan Tedrisat Mecmuası’nın incelendiği bu çalışmada, tarihsel akışın sağlanabilmesi için ilk olarak matbaanın kuruluşu ve ülkemizdeki gelişimi, ilk süreli yayınların ortaya çıkışı ve Türkiye’de süreli yayınların gelişimi, ilk dergilerin ortaya çıkışı ve matbuat nizamnameleri aktarılmış; bunların ardından Tedrisat Mecmuası’nın içeriği çeşitli başlıklar altında toplanarak incelenmiştir. Son olarak, derginin tüm içeriği çalışmanın sonunda İndeks başlığı ile listelenmiştir.
Periodicals are important resources that can reflect the agenda, social structure and general lines of the period in which they were published. Therefore, journals constitute a large part of the periodicals. The journals, which are the witnesses of the period they are in, and that shed light as a source from the past to the future when examined later; have important information about the history of education as well as many other subjects. Tedrisat Mecmuası, which was published between 1951-1958, as one of these educational journals, has many data in terms of the educational understanding of the period it was published. Tedrisat Mecmuası is an educational journal and has an important place in Turkey in the field of journalism education. This journal was published twice between 1909-1926 and 1951- 1958, and many academic studies were conducted on the first publication period of the journal. On the other hand, although there is no academic study for the second publication period of the journal between 1951-1958, this study is aimed to be the first study in terms of enlightening the discussions and opinions on education in the relevant period. For all that the journal has 60 known issues, all of these issues are analyzed by content analysis and a content breakdown is created for this study. In this context, it has been determined that articles on many subjects such as social studies, lesson plans and textbooks were published in the journal, and various ideas were put forward to improve education and training. Apart from those mentioned, educational programs and teacher training procedures of various countries were examined in the content of the magazine, and sample lesson plans and developments in education were conveyed to the readers. In this study, Tedrisat Mecmuası, a periodicals, have been discussed and also the subject of the development of the establishment of printing in order to maintain the historical flow in Turkey, the development of the emergence and periodicals of the first periodicals were examined. The emergence of the first journals and printing regulations were conveyed, and then the contents of the Tedrisat Mecmuası were examined under various headings. Finally, the entire content of the journal is listed under the title "index" at the end of the study.
