Abstract
Morfometrik ölçümler Uludağ Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Araştırma Uygulama Çiftliği, Vahşi Yaşam Merkezinde bulunan 9 ayı üzerinde yapıldı. Ölçümler sonucu humerus'un femur'dan daha kısa, crus'un ise antebrachium'dan daha uzun olduğu tespit edildi. Farklı bölgelerden alınan deri kıvrım kalınlıklarına göre en kalın deri cidago bölgesinde, en ince uyluk dış derisinde olduğu saptandı. Ön ayakta digital, metacarpal ve carpal, arka ayakta ise digital ve tabanı tamamen kaplayan matatarsal taban yastığı gözlendi.
The morphometrical measurements have taken from 9 brown bears in the Wild Life Research Center of Uludağ University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. According to the measurements humerus is shorter than femur but crus is larger than antebrachium. The thickness of the skin foldings has been taken from different region of the body, and according to the results the thicker skin has taken from cidago region and the thinner skin has taken from the tigh outher region of the skin. In the front foot digital, metacarpal and carpal and in the hind foot digital and metatarsal pad covering foot sole were observed.
