Abstract
Bu çalışma Alman Kısa Tüylü Pointer ırkı köpeklerin başlıca döl verimi özellikleri, yavrularda ölüm oranı ve beden ölçülerini saptamak amacıyla yapıldı. Bu araştırmada ilk östrüs gösterme ve ilk çiftleştirme yaşı ortalama, sırasıyla; 10.99 ve 19.48 ay saptandı. Ortalama gebelik süresi 62.22 gün, iki östrüs arası geçen süre 7. 72 ay bulundu. Yavru ölümleri erkekler için % 49.90, dişiler için% 65.98 hesaplandı. Erkek ve dişiler için ergin çağda ortalama vücut ağırlığı sırasıyla 22.95 ve 21.57 kg bulundu. Baş uzunluğu, kulak uzunluğu, iki kulak arası mesafe, cidago yüksekliği, göğüs genişliği, göğüs çevresi, bilek çevresi, vücut uzunluğu, sağrı yüksekliği ve sağrı genişliği erkekler için sırasıyla; 23.91, 17. 00, 10.94, 53.00, 16.95, 64.52, 12.95, 54.31, 52.11 ve 15.44 cm, dişiler için sırasıyla; 21.58, 14.13, 11.09, 51.51, 16.41, 60. 75, 11.66, 52.50, 47.54 ve 15.36 cm bulundu. Cidago yüksekliği 1 vücut uzunluğu oranı ve sağrı yüksekliği 1 cidago yüksekliği oranı erkekler için sırasıyla; 9. 68:10 ve 9.84:10, dişiler için sırasıyla; 9.83:10 ve 9.26:10 hesaplandı. Baş uzunluğu, cidago yüksekliği, göğüs çevresi, bi/ek çevresi, vücut uzunluğu, sağrı yüksekliği ve sağrı yüksekliğinin cidago yüksekliğine oranı bakımından erkek ve dişiler arası farklılıklar önemli bulundu. (P<0.001, P<0.01, P<0.001, P<0.001, P<0.05, P<0.001, p<0.05). Vücut ağırlığı ve beden ölçüleri arası ilişkileri tanımlamak için regresyon analizi kullanıldı.
This study was made to determine main reproductive traits, pup mortality and body measurements of German Shorthaired Pointer dogs. In this research, mean age for the first oestrus and breeding were determined as 10.99 and 19.48 months, respectively. An average duration for the gestation and interostrus periods were found 62.22 days and 7. 72 months, respectively. Pup mortalities were calculated as 49.90 %for males and 65. 98 %for females. The average body weiglıt for males and females were found as 22.95 and 21.57 kg, respectively. Means of head length, the ear length, the distance between two ears, the height at shoulder, the chest wideness, the chest circumference, the wrist circumference, the body length, the hight at rump and the rump wideness were found 23.91, 17.00, 10.94, 53.00, /6.95, 64.52, 12.95, 54.31, 52.11 and 15.44 cm for males, 21.58, 14.13. 11.09, 51.51, 16.41, 60.75, 11.66, 52.50. 47.54 and 15.36 cm for females respectively. The proportion of body height and length and the proportion of height at rump and shoulder were calculated as 9.68:10 and 9.84:10 for males. 9. 83:10 and 9. 26:10 for females, respectively. There were significant differences between male and female for means of the head length, the height at shoulder, the chest circumference, the wrist circumference, the body length, the height at rump and the proportion of height at rump and shoulder (P<0.001, P<0.01, P<0.001, P<0.001, p<0.05. P<0.00 I, P<0.05). To deseribe the relationship between body measurements and body weight for each sex, regression analyses were made.
