Abstract
Baltacıoğlu Türkiye 'nin yetiştirdiği önemli eğitimcilerden biridir. Psikolojizm ve sosyolojizim akımlarının eğitim alanında taraftarları aracılığıyla kıyasıya mücadele verdilderi dönemde, Baltacıoğlu; Durklıeimci ve Bergsoncu görüşleri birleştirerek, İçtimai Mektep ile ifade edilen sistematik bir eğitim anlayışı geliştirmiştir. lçtimai Mektep; dil-din-sanat gelenekleri yoluyla köklerini toplumsal gerçek çilikten alan-kişilik , çevre, çalışma , verim ve başlatma gibi ilkelerin- sistematik bir biçimde bütünleştirimesin den oluşmuştu . Baltacıoğlu , bu teori ile insanın toplumsal, ruhsal, zihinsel ve bedensel boyutlardaki kapasitesinin , bireysel ve toplumsal yararaçısından geliştirilmesini sağlayıcı ve bilimsel gerçekiere uygun bir eğitim anlayışının analizini de yapmaktadır.
Baltacıoğlu has ben one of the most important and influential thinkers anong the Turkish educators. He had devcloped a systematic educational theory, called İçtimai Mektep ( "The Social School"), by synthesizing Bergsonian and D urkheimia n thougits; the first represented the individualism and the latter emphasızed society, at the period of upheavel in Turkey içtimai Mektep has been set up by systematically integrating the traditions of language, religion and arts which was rootcd in the social reality of the Turkish socicty and the principles of indiuid qality, environment , working, productivity and beginning . He, with this theory, had been analyzing the educational interpretation that the teory emphasized on developing the capacities of man from the social, psychic, bodily and mental dimentions. Also, his teory woud help for the benefit of individual and society and would be inaccordance with scientific reality.
