Abstract
Bu çalışmada dondurulmuş-çözündürülmüş köpek spermasındaki morfolojik bozuklukların saptanmasında iki farklı boyama yöntemi ve bir sıvı-fikzatif solusyonun etkileri ve bu yöntemlerin karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bulgular incelendiğinde boyama grupları ve fikzatif solusyon arasında akrozomal ve toplam morfolojik bozukluklar arasında istatistiksel fark saptanmamıştır. Sonuç olarak morfolojik bozuklukların belirlenmesinde Hancock solusyonu yanında diğer boyama yöntemlerinin de kullanılabileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.
In this study, it is aimed to detect the effects of the various staining methods and a fixative solution on morphological defects in frozen-thawed dog semen. Analyses of the data showed that there were no significant differences (P>0.05) between the fixation and staining groups for acrosomal and total morphological defects. In conclusion, in addition to Hancock’s solution, different staining methods can be used to detect morphological defects on frozen-thawed dog semen.
