Abstract
Topikal glukokortikoidlerin uzun süreli kullanımı hipotalamus-hipofiz-adrenal aksında geri dönüşümlü bozulmaya yol açabilmektedir. Burada 3 ay süre ile topikal steroid kullanımı sonucu Cushing sendromu gelişen 8 aylık kız hasta sunulmuştur.
Corticosteroids, even by topical application may cause reversible hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal axis suppression due to prolonged use. Here, we report a 8 month-old girl with Cushing syndrome that was developed secondary to topical corticosteroid use for 3 months.
