Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Arapça yazılıp sonradan Türkiye Türkçesine çevrilen bir eserdeki deyim, atasözü vb. kalıp yapılar incelenmiştir. Ayrıca aktarım sırasında, kalıp düzeyinde yaşanan değişim ve kaymalar ele alınmıştır. İnceleme sırasında birebir çeviri (eşleşme) örneklerinden ziyade çevirinin beraberinde getirdiği çok sayıda biçimsel değişiklikle dil kaymaları tespit edilmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra özgün dile ait olan ve kendi kültürüne özgü bir anlam taşıyan erek dilde karşılık bulmayan dil yapıları da değerlendirilmiş, gereken açıklamalar dipnotlarda verilmiştir. İncelemede kullanım sıklığı dikkate alınarak kalıp yapılardan en çok deyimler üzerinde çalışılmıştır. Kalıp ifade özelliği gösteren diğer dil yapıları da taplolar üzerinden tanıtılmıştır. Bununla birlikte çeviri sürecini yönlendiren strateji ve tekniklerden söz edilerek çevirmenin uyguladığı yöntemi izah eden açıklamalara yer verilmiştir. Eserin çevirisine genel bakış olumlu yönde olduğundan konu, bugüne kadar eleştirel gözle irdelenmemiştir. Ancak bu çalışmada eleştirel yaklaşımla çeviri değerlendirilmiş; arada sırada çevirmenin görüşünün benimsenmediği durumlarda başka seçeneklerin olabileceği öne çıkarılmıştır.
In this study, the focus was given to studying the translating issues of expression patterns like: idioms, proverbs … etc, through studying a text written in Arabic then translated into Turkey Turkish afterwards. Also, changes and translation shifts that involve expression patterns during the transfer process have been put into consideration. In this study, along with some examples of literally translation, it has been ascertained that there is a huge number of examples where changes of the word form and translation shifts are obviously seen through the texts. In addition, some structures of the language with cultural backgrounds or mostly have no equivalent in the target language have been issued in this study too. And some required explanations have been put into footnotes area when necessary. In this study the attention goes in the first place to the idioms field, as they are the most to be encountered. Also, the other structures representing expression patterns have been introduced through the tables shown in the second and third chapters of the study. At the same time it has been focused on the strategies and techniques used in transferring process. Some explanations to clarify the way and style used by translator have been provided through the study. As the translated work is thought to be exceptionally good, it has been kept away from being criticized or negatively evaluated till the moment. Here in this study the evaluation process aimed to look with a criticizing eye to the content. So when passing by some occasions where it is not agreed with the translator, some other suitable alternatives have been provided.
