Abstract

Su sıcaklığı (°C), Çözünmüş Oksijen (DO), Biyolojik Oksijen İhtiyacı (BOD5), Toplam Çözünmüş Madde (TDS), İletkenlik, pH, Klorofll-a (Kl-a), Nitrat (N03), Ortofosfat (0-P04), Sülfat (S04), Silis (Si), Fenol ve Toplam Alkalinite ve sertlik analizleri beş istasyonda çalışma periyodu esnasında ölçülmüştür. Epipelik, epifitik ve epilitik alg florasını ve türlerin bolluk değerleri tespit edilmiştir.
The seasonal variation of the epipelic, epiphytic and epilithic algae in Lake Uluabat (Apolyont, Ulubat) in Turkey, were investigated between the period of July 1998 to June 1999. Total 406 taxa were identified; 224 taxa belong Bacillariophyta, 72 to Chlorpphyta, 51 to Cyanophyta, 30 to Euglenophyta, 7 to Pyrrophyta and 2 to Chrysophyta. Most of them characterised by wide geographic distributions, but some of the taxa were rarely present in Turkey. Bacillariophyta members were the first, and Cyanophyta members were the second dominant divisions in Lake Uluabat, and these two divisions were important through out the research period. Melosira italica (Ehr) Kütz., Cocconeis placentula v. lineata (Ehr) V.H., Amphora perpusilla (Grun.) Grun. var. perpusilla, Navicula cyrptocephala v. veneta (Kütz.) Rabh., Nitzschia palea (Kütz.) W. Smith are dominant diatom members through out the year. Chlorophyta and Euglenophyta members that were observed in some stations during late Spring, Summer and Autumn are present low abundance and repetition. The members of Pyrrophyta and Chrysophyta were insignificent from their species number and density in Lake Uluabat benthic algal flora. The epipelic, epilithic and epiphytic algae were correlated with certain physical and chemical parameters. Water temperature (°C), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD5), Total Dissolved Substance (TDS), Conductivity, pH, Chloropyll-a (Cl-a), Nitrate (N03), Orthophosphate (0-P04), Sulphate (S04), Silica (Si), Fenol and Total Alkalinity and Hardness were measured in study periods for each five stations. The epipelic, epilithic and epiphytic algal flora and the abundance degree of species were determined.
