Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretimde cinsel bilgiler eğitimi konusunda velilerin ve öğretmenlerin görüşlerini tespit etmektir.Araştırmanın evrenini Bursa ili merkez ilçesindeki bazı ilköğretim okullarında çalışan öğretmenler; bu okullarda öğrenim gören çocukların velileri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemini ise Bursa ili Osmangazi ilçesinde bulunan Hatice-Salih İlköğretim Okulu, Dr. Necla Yazıcıoğlu İlköğretim Okulu, Yıldırım İlçesinde bulunan Vali Orhan Taşanlar İlköğretim Okulu, Gemlik ilçesinde bulunan Atatürk İlköğretim Okulu ve Namık Kemal İlköğretim Okulu'nda görev yapan 248 öğretmen ile bu okullarda okuyan 85 öğrencinin velisi (anne veya baba) oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmada kullanılan bilgi toplama formu beşli likert tipinde hazırlanmıştır ve 28 sorudan oluşmaktadır. Bilgi toplama formunun maddeleri ilgili yazın incelendikten sonra araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulmuştur.Verilerin çözümlenmesinde yüzde (%) ve frekans (f) hesaplaması yapılmıştır. Elde edilen verilere uygun olarak tablolar hazırlanmış ve araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda yorum yapılmıştır.Araştırmanın sonucunda ilköğretimde cinsel bilgiler eğitimi dersinin ayrı bir ders olarak okutulması gerektiği görülmüştür. Öğretmen ve veli görüşlerine göre cinsel bilgiler eğitimi özel eğitim almış uzmanlar tarafından kız ve erkeklere ayrı ortamlarda; 6. sınıftan itibaren verilmelidir. Ayrıca ilköğretim okullarında okutulacak cinsel bilgiler eğitimi dersinde ergenlikte ruhsal ve bedensel değişimler, toplumsal yapı, cinsel organlar ve cinsel istismar konularının yer alması gerektiği veli ve öğretmenler tarafından belirtilmiştir.Araştırmaya katılan öğretmen ve velilerin, genellikle birbiriyle doğru orantılı cevaplar verdiği görülmüştür. Sadece öğretmenlerin cinsellikle ilgili rahat konuştukları; velilerin rahat konuşmadıkları; velilere göre cinsel konuların konuşulmasının ahlaki değerlerimize uymadığını, öğretmenlere göre cinsellikle ilgili konuşmanın ahlaki değerlerimizle bir bağlantısı olmadığını düşündükleri belirlenmiştir
The aim of this research is to state the opinions of the parents and teachers in respect of sexual information and education in elementary education.The center of the research consists of the teachers working in some elementary schools in center Bursa and the parents of the children that are studying in these schools. My sampling, however, involves the 248 teacher and parents of 85 students that are working and studying in Hatice-Salih Elementary School and Dr. Necla Yazıcıoğlu Elementary School in Bursa, Osmangazi, Vali Orhan Taşanlar Elementary School in Bursa, Yıldırım, and also Atatürk Elementary School and Namık Kemal Elementary School in Bursa, Gemlik.Information gathering form that is used in the research has likert scale with five options and consists of 28 questions. The topics in the information gathering forms are composed by the researcher after the concerned writing is analyzed.The analysis of the data are calculated by percentage and frequency. Tables are created proper to the data that is gathered and commented in accordance with the aim of the research.As a result of the research, it is seen that sexual information and education should be given as a seperated lesson in elementary education. According to teachers and parents, sexual information education should be given to male and female students in different places by specially trained experts, beginning from sixth grade. Moreover, it is stated by the teachers and parents that in the sexual information and education lessons given in the elementary schools, there should be subjects like psychological and physical changes in adolescence, social structure, genitals and sexual abuse.It is seen that teachers and parents that are participated in the research have given directly proportional answers with each other in general. And also it is understood that only teachers comfortably talk about sexuality and they don't see any relation between talking about sexuality and our moral values while parents being uncomfortable on the subject and think that it is not proper to talk about sexual subjects for our moral values.
