Abstract
Faik Baysal, Cumhuriyet sonrası Türk edebiyatında toplumcu gerçekçilik anlayışıyla eser veren yazarlarımızdan biridir. Romanlarında toplumdaki ekonomik, dinî, ailevî meseleler ve sosyal adaletsizlik, toplumdaki yozlaşma gibi konuları ele almıştır. Bu tezde Faik Baysal'ın romanlarında toplumdaki sorunlara dikkat çeken, tekrar eden bu meseleler maddeler halinde tahlil edilmiştir. Bu tahliller doğrultusunda Baysal'ın sanat anlayışı ve toplumun romanlara yansıması üzerine incelemeler yapılmıştır. Tezin giriş bölümünde toplumcu gerçekçi sanat anlayışı ile roman türü üzerine açıklamalar verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde yazarın hayatına ve sanatına kısaca değinildikten sonra eserler hakkında özet bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde köy ve şehir hayatını ele alan romanlardaki sosyal meseleler, üçüncü bölümde ise savaş temini ele alan romanlardaki sosyal meseleler incelenmiştir. Çalışma, genel bir değerlendirmenin anlatıldığı sonuç ve kaynakça bölümleri ile bitirilmiştir.
Faik Baysal is one of our authors who gave works in post-Republican Turkish literature with the concept of social realism. In his novels, he handled economic, religious, family matters and social injustice in society, corruption in society, and so on. In this thesis, the repetitive matters of Faik Baysal's novels, which draw attention to the problems in the society, have been analyzed in an itemised way. In the direction of these analyzes, Baysal's artistic understanding and reflection on the society's novels were examined. In the introduction section of the dissertation, socialist realistic artistic understanding and description of the novel type are given. In the first part, brief information about the life and art of the author is given after briefly mentioned. In the second chapter, social issues in novels dealing with village and city life, and in the third chapter, social issues in novels dealing with the subject of war were examined. The study was completed with bibliography and a conclusion including a general evaluation.
