Abstract
Avrupa Birliği Yunanistan'ın genel durumunu hangi yönde etkilemiştir. Kuşkusuz bu soruya olumsuz bir cevap bulmak zordur. Bu çalışmada AB üyeliği öncesi, ağırlıklı olarak da AB üyeliği sonrasında Yunanistan Ekonomisinde meydana gelen gelişmeler analiz edilmiştir. Kuruluşundan itibaren XX. Y.y'ın ilk üççeyreğinde de siyasi çalkantılar içersinde varlık mücadelesi veren Yunanistan bütün olumsuzluklara rağmen 1981 yılında AB ile bütünleşebilmiş, hem siyasi hem de ekonomik istikrarı büyük ölçüde yakalamıştır. Diğer taraftan Türkiye de Yunanistan ile birbirine çok yakın tarihlerde AB ( o günkü adıyla AT) ile ortaklık anlaşması imzalamış olmasına rağmen Yunanistan'ın üyeliğinin 27.nci yılında halen yolun sonunu görememektedir.Dört bölümden oluşan çalışmanın ilk iki bölümünde AB üyeliği öncesinde Yunanistan tablosu ortaya çıkartılmakta ve AB serüveni incelenmektedir. Türkiye'nin de AB ile ilişkilerine Yunanistan ile bir paralellik içersinde yeri geldiğinde vurgu yapılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde AB Bölgesel Politikası çerçevesinde Yunanistan ekonomisinde yapısal fonların faydaları analiz edilmiş, Yunanistan Ekonomisinin yapısı sektörel olarak incelenmiştir. Son bölümde ise AB ekonomik kriterleri açısından Türkiye Ekonomisi analiz edilerek Yunanistan ekonomisi ile bir karşılaştırması yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular AB üyeliğinden Yunanistan Ekonomisinin genel olarak olumlu yönde etkilendiğini göstermektedir. Ancak bütün ekonomik sorunların da çözüldüğü anlamına gelmemektedir.
In this study basicly the changes in Greeces economic structure were analized after the enrolment to the EU. Turkey signed the EU Partnership Agreement closely the same ages with Greece. While Greece is celeberating its 28th year in EU, Turkey's full membership is not certain still. "Is this sitution only Turkey's default or are there something more"," What were the comperative adventages of Greece in The European Way", and "Turkey's efforts, in order to obey to the European rules at economical field" are contents of this text. Before its membership Greece was a country with economic and political instabilities. Though these instabilities Greece had opened the door of EU, integrated with union and became a part of Modern Europe. This means welfare and stability. The gains from European Structural Funds apparent in every field of life.This study consist of four chapters. In first two chapters analyzes Greece general position before membership with paralel to the Turkey. Chapter three focuses the gains of Greece which are obtained from EU membership, expecially from structural funds. How economic sectors have been efected by the admission The last chapter summarizes Turkish Economic History for the last 60 years. There is a comparison between Greece and Turkey's economy based on EU economic criteria. The text is ended by analizing the macroeconomic indicators of Greece after involving the EMU. Finally, with proved results, it is demontrated that Greece Economy had been effected positively by the EU membership. However, this does not mean that all economic problems of Greece are solved.
