Abstract
Bu tez çalışmasında 2014 yılında Yemen’de darbe yaparak yönetimi ele geçiren Hûsî hareketinin ortaya çıkışı, inançları ve Yemen siyasetine etkileri ele alınmıştır. Tezin amacı, Hûsî örneğinden yola çıkarak mezhepsel farklılıkların bir ülkenin siyasi, sosyal ve ekonomik hayatına etkilerini ortaya koymaktır. Özelde Yemen, genelde ise Ortadoğu’nun diğer ülkelerinde yönetimden çarşı-pazara varıncaya dek, toplumu en çok etkileyen faktörlerden birisi de dini/mezhepsel farklılıklardır. Ortadoğu’nun siyaset ve toplum yapılanmalarında bariz bir şekilde belirleyici olan mezhep-iktidar ilişkilerine en güzel örneklerden birisi de Hûsî hareketidir. Ortaya çıktığı ilk dönemlerden beri bazı medya ve akademi çevrelerince Şiî-Sünnî mücadelesi olarak tanımlanan Yemen savaşını ve bu savaşın en önemli aktörlerinden birisi olan Hûsîleri anlamak, mezhepsel farklılıkların Ortadoğu coğrafyasında etkilerinin hangi boyutlarda olduğunu anlamak açısından önemlidir. Ayrıca tezimizde küresel ve bölgesel güçlerin, Ortadoğu’da mezhep kartını kullanmak suretiyle, nasıl bir vekâlet savaşı yürüttükleri de Hûsî örneği üzerinden ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.
In this thesis, the emergence of the Hûsî movement, which took over the government in a coup in 2014 in Yemen, its beliefs and its effects on Yemeni politics are discussed. The aim of the thesis is to reveal the effects of sectarian differences on the political, social and economic life of a country, based on the example of Hûsi. One of the factors that affect the society the most, from the administration to the bazaar-market in Yemen in particular and in other countries of the Middle East in general, is religious/sectarian differences. One of the best examples of the sectarian-government relations, which are clearly decisive in the politics and social structures of the Middle East, is the Hûsî movement. It is important to understand the Yemen war, which has been defined as the Shiite-Sunni struggle by some media and academia since its first emergence, and the Houthis, one of the most important actors of this war, in order to understand the extent of the effects of sectarian differences in the Middle East geography. In addition, in our thesis, it has been tried to reveal how the global and regional powers are waging a proxy war by using the sectarian card in the Middle East, through the example of Hûsi.
