Abstract
Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'in 54. sûresi olan Kamer sûresi, Mekke döneminde inmiştir ve 55 âyetten oluşmaktadır. Bu tezde, Kamer sûresinin tefsiri, onda geçen kıyâmet tasvirleri ve helâk edilen kavimler araştırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmamız üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Kamer sûresi hakkında genel bilgilere yer verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu açıklamalar yapılırken Kur'ân-ı Kerîm başta olmak üzere sûre ile ilgili bilgi veren diğer kaynaklara da başvurulmuştur. İkinci bölümde sûrede bulunan bazı kelime ve ıstılahlar izah edilmeye gayret edilmiştir. Ayrıca dirâyet ve rivâyet tefsirlerine ve konuyla ilgili mevcut olan diğer kaynaklara dayanarak sûrenin tefsiri üzerinde durulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde ise sûrede yer alan kıyâmet tasvirleri ve helâk edilen kavimler ile ilgili ikinci bölümden elde edilen bilgiler çerçevesinde ve Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'in diğer sûrelerinden faydalanılarak konu izah edilmeye çalışılmıştır.
The 54th Surah of the Qur'an called Surat al-Qamar was revealed in Makkah and contains 55 ayats. The aim of thesis was to do the exegesis of the surat al Qamar and to research about the Apocalypse and the perished peoples mentioned in it. Our research is made up of three chapters. General information about Surat al-Qamar was given in the first chapter of the thesis. While doing this research we referred to the Holy Qur'an as a main source as well as other sources related to surat al-Qamar. In the second chapter it was worked on the explanation of some words' meanings and terminologies mentioned in the surah. Afterwards it was worked on the exegesis of the surah by using dirayah (rational) and riwayah (narrative) methods of tafsir (exegesis). As for the third chapter, it was aimed to explain the topics of the Apocalypse and the perished nations referring to the information obtained from the second chapter and other surahs in the Qur'an.
