Abstract
Çoklu karşılaştırma testleri, varyans analizinin gerçekleştirilmesi sonrasında anlamlı olan grup veya grupları belirlemede kullanılan testlerdir. Literatürde birçok çoklu karşılaştırma testi yer almaktadır. Çalışmamızda yaygın olarak kullanılan ve istatistiksel yazılımlarda yer alan 12 çoklu karşılaştırma testi belirlenmiştir. Bu testlerin temellendiği istatistikler ve dayandığı varsayımlar farklılık göstermektedir. Farklı grup sayıları, homojen varyans yapısı, eşit ve farklı örneklem büyüklükleri için simulasyon çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Testlerin birbiriyle karşılaştırılmasında deneysel hata oranı, karşılaştırma başına hata oranı, istatistiksel güç ve yanlış bulgu oranı dikkate alınmıştır. Simulasyon sonucunda LSD ve Duncan testlerinin hata oranları yüksek bulunurken Schefee testinin düşük bulunmuştur. Buna bağlı olarak LSD ve Duncan testlerinin gücü yüksek iken Scheffe testinin düşük bulunmuştur. Çalışma sonucunda LSD, Duncan ve Scheffe testleri önerilmemektedir.
Multiple comparison tests are used after variance analysis to determine the different group or groups. Many multiple comparison tests are available in the literature. In our study we compare twelve multiple comparison tests which are so popular and available in statistical softwares. These tests are different according to statistical theory and assumptions. Simulation is performed according to different number of groups, homogeneity of variance, equal and different sample size. These tests are compared according to experimentwise error rate, comparisonwise error rate, statistical power and false discovery rate. In simulation result, the error rates of LSD and Duncan tests are higher than others. On the other hand the error rates of Scheffe is lower than others. Depending on this result, the power LSD and Duncan tests are higher than others. On the other hand the power of Scheffe is lower than others. LSD, Duncan and Scheffe tests are not suggested in our study.
