Abstract
Hicrî V. asırda yaşayan Hanefî fakîhi ve müfessir Abdüssamed el-Gaznevî'nin ve onun Tefsîrul-Kur'âni'l-Azîm isimli eserinin tanıtılmasının hedeflendiği bu tezde, Gaznevî'nin ilmî kişiliği ile tefsir yönteminin belirlenmesi ve böylece tefsir ilmine katkısının tespit edilmesi; bununla birlikte 487/1094'de telif ettiği Tefsîrul-Kur'âni'l-Azîm isimli çalışmasının tefsir metodolojisi açısından incelenerek eserin tefsir tarihindeki yeri ve öneminin ortaya çıkarılması konu edinilmiştir.Üç bölümden oluşan tezin birinci bölümünde Abdüssamed el-Gaznevî tanıtılmış; Gaznevî'nin yaşadığı h. V. asrın siyâsî, içtimâî, iktisâdî ve ilmî şartları ele alınmış; asrın önemli ilim merkezleri, âlimleri ve ilmî faaliyetlerine atıfta bulunulmuş; böylece yaşadığı dönemin ve bölgenin genel durumu göz önünde bulundurularak Abdüssamed el-Gaznevî'nin hayatı ve ilmî kişiliği konusu işlenmiştir.İkinci bölümde Tefsiru'l-Kur'âni'l-Azîmin muhtevası tanıtılmıştır. Öncelikle, günümüze yazma olarak ulaşan eserin genel özellikleri üzerinde durulmuş; tefsirin kaynakları tespit edilerek tanıtılmış; eserin kendinden sonraki dönemlere tesirleri araştırılarak Tefsiru'l-Kur'âni'l-Azîmden iktibasta bulunan eserler tespit edilmiştir. Daha sonra ana hatlarıyla eserin muhtevasının ortaya çıkarılmasına gayret edilmiş; bu şekilde eserin tefsir tarihindeki yeri ve öneminin ortaya çıkarılmasına çalışılmıştır.Üçüncü bölüm ise Gaznevî'nin Tefsiru'l-Kur'âni'l-Azîm'deki rivayet ve dirayet metodunun ayrıntılı olarak ortaya çıkarılmasına ve bu şekilde Gaznevî'nin Kur'ân'ı tefsir yönteminin tespit edilmesine çalışılmış; neticede Abdüssamed el-Gaznevî'nin genelde temel İslam bilimlerine özelde ise tefsir ilmine katkılarının saptanması amaçlanmıştır.
Subject of this thesis is to introduce Abdussamad al-Ghaznavi and his tafsir entitled Tafsir al-Quran al-Azim which he wrote in 487 AH. It is intended to determine Ghaznavis scholarly stature and his method of tafsir, thus ascertaining his contribution to science of exegesis, as well as to analyze his Tafsir al-Quran al-Azim in terms of tafsir methodology and to elicit its prominence in tafsir history.In the first of three parts of this thesis, the mufassir and Hanafi faqih, Abdussamad al-Ghaznavi is introduced; the political, economic and social structure of the 5th century AH when he lived is discussed; major scientific centers, scholars and scholarly activities of this century were described; thus Abdussamad al-Ghaznavis life and his scholarly stature is portrayed considering the general situation of his era and region.In the second part we examined the content of Tafsir al-Quran al-Azim. After giving general information about the work which reached the present day as manuscript are depicted; the sources of the tafsir are determined and introduced; its influence on future works is researched and any citing from Tafsir al-Quran al-Azim are ascertained. Thereafter, the contents of the book are outlined, unraveling its prominence in tafsir history.Third part reveals Ghaznavis method in sense of al-tafsir al-dirayah and al-tafsir al-riwayah in detail. Thus we aim to determine Ghaznavis method of exegesis of the Quran and eventually his contribution to Islamic sciences in general and the lore of tafsir specifically.
